If you want to join the Circle…

If you wish to join the circle, please review the information below and complete the Application. The information you provide will give me a sense of your fit for the circle. It will be held strictly confidential. If you have any questions about the process, please get in touch through the inquiry form. You will receive a response from office@kellyminor.com. (Please check to be sure that it has not been culled to your junk folder.)

Application Information

There is no deadline. Our circle is built with special consideration to balancing personalities as well as relative levels of growth. In this way, the circle itself represents a wholly actualized being. (It holds the model of what is possible for each of its members.) Given this complexity, it is a lengthy process selecting members for a new circle. Understandably, it can take even longer to select an appropriate replacement when a seat opens up within an existing, longstanding circle. Kelly therefore reviews applications immediately upon receiving them and maintains a wait list.

What is the basis for consideration?  In considering applicants, special attention is given to group diversity, relative level of personal growth, and applicant-to-circle attunement. Attunement is determined as follows: Can the circle support this woman’s growing edge in a way that is unique, important and timely? Can this woman contribute to the circle in a way that is consistent with its established purpose?  (NOTE: this overlaps with the Circle Agreement Form, but should probably be both places)

Admittance

Wait List. If you are a good fit for a circle, and there are no openings currently available, then you will be placed on the wait list. From there, you will be invited into a circle: 1) when a seat opens or 2) when the wait list reaches a critical threshold to create an entirely new circle.

Immediate Entry. If you are a good fit for a circle, and an opening is available, then you will be invited into that circle using the process below (i.e., preventing conflict of interest).

Preventing Conflict-of-Interest.  When a seat becomes available within one of the circles, Kelly will identify the best candidate for that circle. To prevent potential conflict-of-interest, Kelly will present the candidate’s name (only) to the pre-existing members of the circle in writing. Members will be asked to respond in writing whether or not there is a “conflict of interest” (and will specifically be asked to provide no additional information). If there is a conflict of interest, the candidate will not be invited to join the circle (with no rationale). In this way, the circle remains a place of safety and support for those already in it.
