Annual Course
Mar 17 - Apr 7, 2025.
Four consecutive Mondays.
Asynchronous participation is welcomed.
Continuing education (CE) credit available.
This introductory course, titled Reclamation Ground, is aimed at learning to reclaim your power. It’s offered live, online once per year. (Otherwise, the video recordings are available anytime for independent study.) The foundation for this course is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)— a mindfulness-based approach to personal growth. No matter one’s level of ACT mastery, this course serves as the prerequisite to joining any online or on-land gathering (e.g., seminars, circles, workshops, retreats). It provides everyone with a shared language and conceptual foundation, thereby elevating any future gatherings together.
-
The live, online portion of this class series is appropriate for women of all ages, colors, backgrounds, disciplines, gender identities, and expressions. Otherwise, please consider asynchronous participation.
-
If you’re interested in taking this course and do not identify as a woman, then please consider participating asynchronously. Also, please keep in mind that a mixed-gender gathering is on the horizon (TBD). Let us know if you’d like to be kept in that loop.
-
This course is suitable to any level of mastery –from the beginner to the seasoned ACT therapist. Everyone is welcome. Advanced practitioners are encouraged to ask any questions that may arise — it can only bring greater depth and vitality to our conversation.
Participation
Flipped classroom format.
For a more dynamic classroom experience.
Rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), this online course interweaves traditional teachings with inquiry, self-reflection, and guided meditation. All lecture content is delivered through professional, pre-recorded videos; This allows for self-paced learning outside of the classroom. Our time together live, online — over the course of four consecutive Mondays — is therefore interactive (Q&A, guided exercises, breakout rooms, on-the-spot teachings).
-
This course uses a flipped classroom format. Lectures and slide presentations have been pre-recorded -- allowing self-paced learning outside of the classroom. Our time together on four consecutive Mondays (live, online) are therefore more dynamic, interactive, and extemporaneous (e.g., Q & A, discussion, breakout rooms).
-
Live, online meetings take place on four consecutive Mondays (from 4:30 to 6 p.m. PT). Although live participation is encouraged, Zoom recordings are provided within 24 hours following each class.
-
Professional video recordings are posted six days prior to each class meeting. Please watch them prior to our live class meeting. They become available on March 1 and will remain available until April 30.
Course Agreements
Agreements are necessary to create the holding space for this work. Before registering, please review each of the policies below. They apply to live participation as well as self-study.
-
Each participant is entitled to confidentiality. This is a shared responsibility. By registering, you agree to protect the identities of everyone in this course. Do not disclose any information about participants to outsiders. This includes their identities as well as anything they might have shared at any time within the course.
-
Each participant is entitled to privacy. This is a shared responsibility. By registering, you agree to participate in a secure location — with complete privacy. Do not record any portion of the meetings yourself — whether participating live or asynchronously.
-
Video recordings of our meetings are provided to all registrants. During the live meeting, participants can view one another in gallery mode. Participants who speak in the main meeting will have their voices and names (but not their faces) captured on the recording.
-
There is no way to prevent potential conflict of interest when gathering a group. If you arrive in the meeting room, and discover a conflict of interest with another participant, then please take care of yourself by exiting the meeting. Let us know the situation immediately by emailing us (office@kellyminor.com). We will schedule a time for you to speak with Kelly so that you might consider alternatives.
-
This online course might stir up some thoughts and feelings that you would otherwise prefer to avoid. This is a necessary part of the work. To offer these teachings online, Kelly asks that you remain an active participant. If things get difficult, let us know. If you’re confused, ask questions. If you disagree, challenge her.
-
This course has a beginning, middle, and end. To offer these teachings online, Kelly asks that you stay the frame. Commit to participating fully throughout the course.
-
Our purpose in this seminar is to support one another in personal growth. Please do not violate the sanctity of this space by appropriating or commodifying the material. Feel free to teach what you have discovered for yourself as a result of our work together. Do not, however, redistribute the specific material without Kelly’s permission.

Marianne Williamson on Power:
"Women are confused about power. So are men. Feminine power isn’t something we go out and acquire because it’s already within us. Rather, it’s something we become willing to experience. It’s something to possess. Something to admit we have."
