Located in the Guest Cottage, the Oak Room (225 sq ft) has hardwood floors and a 3/4 bathroom. It includes a queen bed, writing desk, chair, full closet, flat-screen tv, microwave, and mini-fridge. It is a brightly lit space with views of the garden.

  • Our 700-square-foot guest cottage has two adjoining spaces that share a wall: Sequoia Studio (475 square feet) and Oak Room (225 square feet). They are connected by a passage door that will be locked (as in a hotel).

  • If you enjoy a brightly lit space, then the Oak Room is for you. It is situated near the flower garden, chicken coop, and bee pond; You will likely hear hens by day and frogs at night. Also, if there are guests sitting at the bonfire, you’ll see and hear them outside your window.

  • The Oak Room is located at the rear of the property. Access requires walking approximately 200 yards over relatively flat ground covered by bark mulch, as well as crossing a 4” tall door threshold. The property offers many places to rest, including picnic tables, benches, and Adirondack chairs. Accessing these areas requires walking over uneven terrain, climbing stone steps, and remaining alert for holes created by our chickens.
