Cultivating Wisdom: Winter 2018

Cultivating Wisdom: Winter

– 2nd Sunday Monthly, Nov 2017 – Feb 2018

“Groups run by and for women are our psychic turf;

our place to discover who we are, or who we could become,

as whole independent human beings.

Somewhere in our lives, each of us needs a free place,

A little psychic territory. Do you have yours?”

~ Gloria Steinem, Outrageous Acts and Everyday Rebellions

This ongoing, advanced-level circle takes a feminine approach toward more fully integrating your understanding of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.  Cultivating Wisdom bridges your conceptual knowledge of ACT toward a more embodied awareness by interweaving inquiry, support, discussion, and teachings on a wide range of topics depending upon the interests of the participants (e.g., self-care, finding what’s juicy, intuitive listening, softening into possibility). The long-term vision is a dedicated circle of women who meet regularly — potentially over the course of years — supporting one another’s essential self-discovery and transformation.

Format: Initially, Cultivating Wisdom will be offered in repeating 3-month blocks; This affords the opportunity for women to enter and exit the circle within a shorter time frame. When ten members are ready, it will become a private circle that is closed to new registrants.

Please note: To participate in this advanced-level circle, you must have completed The ACT Group (in March or October 2017).
