‘Annual Life Review’ Workshop – January 13, 2018

Annual Life Review

– Women’s Workshop January 13, 2018

“Most people, I believe, are living four or five years behind the curve of their own transformation. I see it all the time, in my own life and others. The temptation is to stay in a place where we were previously comfortable, making it difficult to move to the frontier that we’re actually on now. “ ~ David Whyte

What is the frontier that you’re actually on now?  In what ways are you staying comfortable in exchange for living a life that you’ve outgrown?  What awaits you on the horizon — and what support is necessary for you to consider moving in that direction?

Join me for a day aimed at determining what’s most important to you at this particular moment in your life. Through written exercises, extemporaneous teachings, small group inquiry, and impromptu one-on-one coaching, you will explore a wide range of life values and create an inspiring plan of action toward the new year.

The farmhouse setting is cozy and intimate. At this time of year, you might find yourself spending the lunch hour in a fireside tête-à-tête; a lively conversation gathered around the dining table; or, if you’re feeling adventurous, a crisp hike in the Sunol Ridgelands (adjoining the farmhouse property).

Psychologists, MFTs, and LCSWs earn 5 APA-approved CE units. Learning objectives for this event are to: 1. Define values and goals from an ACT perspective; 2. List ten valued life domains; and 3. Use the “Compass of the Heart” and “values narrative” as tools for identifying values, goals, obstacles, and solutions. (See Policies below for CE details.)
