This advanced-level circle builds upon a foundation understanding of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).  It bridges the conceptual understanding of ACT toward a more wisdom-based knowing of the material. Over the course of three months, you will be provided deeper teachings, continued support, and attuned scaffolding on a range of topics (e.g., self-care, guidance, shadow, power) particularly with regard to issues that are encountered during the growth phases of our lives.

The long-term vision: A dedicated circle of women who meet regularly, perhaps over the course of years, supporting one another as they grow individually and collectively. Initially, the Advanced Circle will be offered repeatedly in 3-month blocks; This affords the opportunity for women to enter/exit the circle in a shorter time frame.

When a cohesive group of women forms, the circle will be closed to new registrants. This Private Circle will be developed according to their preferences (e.g., meeting time, frequency, duration; teaching requests, topics of interest; annual private retreats; online resources, satellite groups, telephone check-ins).

Registration Requirements: Participants must have completed The ACT Group in 2017 or 2018. The Advanced Circle is anticipated to sell out. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis.

In the event that you cancel your daylong workshop registration for any reason, the following policies apply:  (1) If you cancel at least 30 days before a daylong workshop, then 75% of your payment will be refunded. (2) If you cancel at least 14 days before a daylong workshop, then 50% of your payment will be refunded. (3) If you cancel within 13 days of the daylong workshop, there is no refund. No refunds will be given for failure to attend or failure to complete the workshop. Cancellations must be made by contacting Nelly at 650-492-3702.
In the event that you cancel your retreat registration for any reason, the following policies apply: If you cancel 30 or more days prior to the retreat start-date, then 75% of your payment will be refunded.  If you cancel less than 30 days prior to the retreat start-date, then 75% of your payment will be refunded only if someone from the wait list fills your spot.  No refunds will be given for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat. APA-approved continuing professional education units are available for California psychologists, MFT’s, and LCSW’s. In order to receive CE, you must: 1) indicate “Attending for CE” upon initial online registration and 2) pay an additional $35 processing fee. In addition, you must sign-in at all events and complete a written evaluation upon course completion. Visit the Services page to read more about Continuing Education.
In the event that your image is captured during any of the women’s events, it may be used by Kelly Minor on promotional materials and/or her website. By registering for this event, you are giving permission for those images captured through video, phone photo, and digital camera to be used at Kelly’s sole discretion on promotional materials and publications and waive the rights of compensation or ownership thereto. That said, if you are uncomfortable with a photograph of yourself being posted, please contact Nelly at 650-492-3702.
