“Spending 6 hours in a workshop with Kelly was a gift I gave myself. The opportunity to slow down and be grounded & mindful allowed me to see my authentic self. Thank you Kelly!”
Dome House in Big Sur, California, is a private residence. You know the famous beach under Bixby Bridge? (The one you see on calendars.) The Dome House has private access to that beach! (Amazing, right?) Better yet, it’s a rustic, cozy, intimate cabin nestled in the woods. Perfect for getting to know a small group of women better. (The cabin holds 9 people at the most–and that’s including the teeny tiny treehouse!)
We gather here for women’s circles. Some of my favorite memories? Friends reclining in Adirondack chairs — wildly laughing while passing plates of blinis, caviar, sour cream, and pickles! Daily walks through the enchanted forest (en route to the beach). Seals waiting just offshore for us to leave the beach upon sunset; Apparently, it’s their bedtime. Watching the negotiation of zen-rock-stacking among girlfriends. Each of us taking a turn tending the old-fashioned wood-burning fireplace. Falling asleep to the sound of women sharing stories late into the night. And beach-walking. (You know the photo on the homepage? Magen snapped it while I was roaming the beach deep in thought.)
It’s a beautiful, secluded, unrefined atmosphere. Perfect for intimate, gritty, get-real gatherings.
The Dome House is not available to the public and therefore does not have a website. Please look at my Events page for upcoming retreats at this location.
